Middleton Road VE day party

The party was organised by Mary Stevenson who lived at 415 Middleton Road. The tables were located at the bottom end of the road near to the River Wandle. She is standing at the top of the table wearing the apron.
My grandparents lived at 413 at the time they were Walter and Ethel Hill my father Arthur his brothers Reg, Walter and sister Ethel. My Aunt lived there until her death in 1999.
Does anyone remember Ted Laws who lived at 33 Middleton Road. His brother, John Laws still lives there.
John Young who supplied the photo may be related to Ted and John? They had relatives living locally called Ted and Denis Young.
