I remember this lady when she was the producer/director of the St Peter's Drama Group. My mum and dad were frequently in the shows which were a mainstay of my childhood. I remember that the end of year production always culminated in an after show party and they all took turns to host it. Roger Royle was an enthusiastic participant in the productions - I remember him being a ballet dancer in one of them! I remember Gwen dressed up as a lollipop lady and wearing those old slippers with pom-poms on the front!
I also remember Gwen & Les Abbot very well. They lived in Muchelney Road, just a few houses along from where I spent my teenage years. They were a really lovely couple, always willing to help anyone out.
